ON “A MEASURE OF LOVE”

ON “A MEASURE OF LOVE”

Some once asked, “can we ever have a true measure of love?” Could subjectivity ever help to answer questions related to a measure of love? Do you remember this quote – “This is the true measure of love: when we believe that we alone can love, that no one could ever have loved so before us and that no one will ever love in the same way after us.”? Is it a subject of a measure or sufficient evidence of love? Could it be a response to the love that is an accurate measure of the adoration or its confession? I say to you, the magnitude of what God has done for us through Christ Jesus remains incomparably unmeasured! “Lord, your constant love reaches the heavens; your faithfulness extends to the skies. Your righteousness is towering like the mountains; your justice is like the depths of the sea. People and animals are in your care. How precious, O God, is your constant love!We find protection under the shadow of your wings.” (Psalm 36:5-7, GNT).
