What a narrative? Listen to this: “Jesus replied, The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.” (John 6:29 BSB). Yes, Jesus talks about “work,” viewing particularly about faith in HIM. His own works (John 5:36) made one complete work (John 17:4). They had one incredible work to do, which to be sure appeared not to work, but rather which when acknowledged would be the living rule of each piece and would be as food standing unto eternal life. Yes, our work is to believe Jesus Christ, the Only One sent by God! That’s it!!!
