Does it mean the world is corrupt or the world is the wickedness? Whatever our view, the evidence remains all around that there are evil all around us. It was the worms inside that Herod that eventually destroyed and killed him with absolute corruption; the Angel struck king Herod dead (Acts 12:20-23). However, we are not of this world: “We know that we belong to God even though the whole world is under the rule of the Evil One. We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we know the true God. We live in union with the true God—in union with his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and this is eternal life. My children, keep yourselves safe from false gods!” (1 John 5:19-21GNT). That’s it!!!
