“Thy will be done,” in its full degree, must be the rule for the Christian life. It must manage the day from morning to night, the course of the year, and the whole of life. At exactly that point will it be the sole worry of the Christian. Every single other concern the Lord dominates. This only one, nonetheless, remains our own as long as we live. Furthermore, at some point or another, we start to understand this as essentially fundamental. That’s it!!!
