“If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, ….”(1 John 1:6a) INDEED, “we lie and do not live by the truth.”

The first fruit that gives evidence of a genuinely saved individual and a genuine faith in God is a person’s walk. A christian walks the way Jesus walked, ordering his or her behaviour pattern according to the Mind of God. Jesus is the light of the world. He did not walk in darkness- and neither can those who are His true followers. Whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God. (John 3:21)
