My dear brothers and sisters, as we gather here today, let us take a moment to reflect on the simple but profound phrase, “May your day be bright”, for the Word of God tells us in Psalm 18:28, “You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.” In this world filled with darkness and uncertainty, it is easy to feel lost and overwhelmed. But let us be reminded of the promise found in Isaiah 9:2, “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness, a light has dawned.” Just as the sun rises each morning to chase away the darkness, so too can we find light and strength to guide us through the challenges that lie ahead. Let us strive to be a beacon of positivity and light in the lives of those around us, spreading hope and encouragement wherever we go.
