My dear friends, today we are reminded of the power and responsibility that comes with having the keys to the kingdom of heaven. The authority we have been given by God is not to be taken lightly, for whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. This means that the choices we make, the actions we take, and the words we speak have the potential to impact our lives and those around us. Are we using these keys wisely and with honour, knowing that God is working through us to bring about His kingdom on earth?

Let us reflect on how we are using these keys in our daily lives. Are we using them to unlock the gates of compassion and forgiveness, to free those burdened by guilt and shame? Are we using them to bind the forces of injustice and hatred, to stand up for the oppressed and the marginalized? Let us remember that we have the power to bring about transformation and redemption in the world, by using the keys of the kingdom of heaven that have been entrusted to us.
