ROOTED IN GOODNESS: BEARING FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
My dear congregation, as we gather in the Presence of the Almighty today, let us reflect on the profound words that remind us of the importance of bearing Good Fruits in our lives. The metaphorical imagery of the Axe being laid to the root of the trees emphasises the need for us to be rooted in goodness. Just like the trees that are expected to bear fruits, we, too, should strive to produce acts of kindness, love, and righteousness in our daily lives. The Lord’s Decree is clear – those who do not bear good fruit and follow His Ways will face the consequences. Therefore, let us foster a spirit of cultivation in our hearts, ensuring that our actions align with the virtues that glorify the Lord. For only the trees that bear good fruits will flourish under the Divine Light, while those that do not will wither and face judgment.
