My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, today we gather in worship to give thanks to the Lord Jesus for the Exceeding Glory displayed in His Justice, Righteousness, and Compassion towards the oppressed. Through His Divine Character, we are called to seek justice, defend the downtrodden, and show compassion to the needy. As followers of Christ, it is our mission to reflect God’s Glory in our actions and to be His Hands and Feet in a world that desperately needs His Love and Mercy.

Let us remember that God’s Justice is not like the justice of the world, which is often flawed and biased. His Justice is perfect, fair, and impartial. It is a Justice that brings Healing and Reconciliation to the brokenhearted and oppressed. When we stand up for the marginalised and voiceless, we are participating in God’s Redemptive Work on earth.

As we go about our daily lives, let us not disregard injustice but be bold in standing up for what is right. Let us be a light in the darkness, a voice for the voiceless, and a beacon of hope to the oppressed. May our actions reflect the Character of our Lord Jesus, who showed us the way of Justice, Righteousness, and Compassion.
