As we gather here today, my beloved congregation, let us remind ourselves of the Promise that our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, will return. Our lives must be attuned to His Imminent Return, living each day in expectation and readiness for His Glorious Appearance. Just as a faithful servant eagerly awaits the return of their master, so too must we be watchful and steadfast in our service to the King of Kings.

Let us not be caught unaware or unprepared; instead, let us be vigilant and diligent in our walk with the Lord. Let our hearts be filled with Hope and Anticipation, knowing that the hour is near when we shall see Him face to face. May our lives be a testimony of our faith, shining brightly as beacons of His Light in a world that desperately needs His Love and Grace.

As we go forth from this place, let us be reminded of the words of our Lord Jesus in Matthew 24:42, “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.” Let us live each day in Readiness, knowing He is returning for His Bride, the Church. Let us be found faithful and watchful, eagerly awaiting His Return with hearts filled with Joy and Expectation.
