My dear brothers and sisters, we are constantly faced with choices in this life journey. We are presented with decisions that shape our character, define our values, and ultimately determine our path. It is easy to be swayed by the ways of the world, to be influenced by the opinions of others, and to compromise our beliefs in exchange for fleeting pleasures. However, as followers of Christ, we are called to a higher standard. We are called to always be on the Lord’s Side.

Reflect on the lives of Noah, Abraham, Moses, and countless other men and women of faith who chose to walk in obedience to God. Despite the challenges they faced, the doubts they harboured, and the criticisms they endured, they remained steadfast in their commitment to follow God’s Will. Their lives stand as a testament to the power of unwavering faith, the strength of conviction, and the beauty of a life lived in alignment with God’s Values.

Let us remember that being on the Lord’s Side is not always easy. It requires us to swim against the currents of popular opinion, to stand firm in the face of adversity, and to trust in God’s Promises even when circumstances seem bleak. But take heart, for God is Faithful, and His Promises are true. When we choose to walk in obedience and align our will with His, we experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, the joy that knows no bounds, and the love that never fails.

So, my dear brothers and sisters, let us commit ourselves afresh to always be on the Lord’s Side. Let us seek His Guidance in all things, His Strength in times of weakness, and His Wisdom in moments of uncertainty. Indeed, this is a holy calling upon us all – to live our lives in a manner that glorifies God, honours His Name, and reflects His Character in all we do.
