My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, today we are to reflect on the Scripture verse that calls us to mount wings like the Eagle, to soar above life’s challenges. Just as the Eagle is known for its strength, grace, and ability to rise above the storms, we too are called to rely on the Holy Spirit’s Power of self-control to overcome the trials and tribulations we face in our daily lives. As Isaiah 40:31 tells us, “Yet, the strength of those who wait with hope in Yahweh will be renewed. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and won’t become weary. They will walk and won’t grow tired.”
