Those who are good at saying no to their flesh are the ones who achieve their highest potential in life. Every one of us fights something inside ourselves every day. It’s a struggle between the spirit and the flesh. The natural, carnal desires we were born with are the flesh. Pride, selfishness, lukewarmness, firelessness, impatience, compromise, and living life according to how we feel are all examples. However, as stated in Galatians 6:8, “He who sows to the flesh will reap ruin, decay, and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will reap life and life eternal” It’s time to choose self-control and discipline right now if you want to reach new heights, serve God, and become everything God made you to be! Every day, let the Holy Spirit direct your life, and you shall produce the fruits of the Spirit. That’s it!!!
