GET UP WALKING

GET UP WALKING

When Jesus asked a man with a disability, “Do you want to get well?” in John 5, Instead of responding, “Yes, that’s what I believe for,” he made excuses and attempted to justify his condition. The man had settled into his dysfunction and lost his drive to get well after suffering from this disability for 38 depressing years. But when he heard Jesus tell him to get up and walk, something in him wanted to try, and despite all odds, he gained strength in his legs and was immediately healed. Here it is: “Jesus told him, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!” (John 5:8, NLT). That’s it!!!
