To avoid the complication of deliverance literal impression, I prefer the title “songs of victory” to the “songs of deliverance.” But if you probe further, I will tell you the titles are similarly situated! What matters is your understanding of receiving victory over all the enemies’ attacks and living a stress-free life. Do it this way, friend; singing sacred songs and making spiritual melodies in your heart is God’s way of delivering you from the anxities, stresses, distresses, … of the world. The more you enter into His courts with praise and into His gates with Thanksgiving, the less you will feel the pressure of daily life, for God Almighty is ever with you wherever you are! Hear this Psalmist: “You are my hiding place. You protect me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah” (Psalm 32:7). That’s it, singing the songs of deliverance, melodious songs of victory.
