Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’ (John 7:38, ESV). More often than not, we’re praying, “God, get me out of this trial. Get me out of this trouble at work, get me out of this financial mishap, get me out of this sickness, and much more.” There’s nothing bad about it. However, before you get out, you need to welcome God in. Let God take absolute control of your life. Determining you just knew the gifts God has for you, you would request living water. That implies you would ask enormous; you would accept hugely. You would dispose of the coercion and prepare for something you haven’t seen.
