ON “QUOTES OF THE DAY”

1. “The Lord will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands. And you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.”

2 “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the sinner’s wealth is laid up for the righteous. Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.”

3 “For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted to them his property. To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. So also he who had the two talents made two talents more. But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master’s money.”

4 “The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
