ON “DEATH AS A OLD ORDER”

It’s a dreadful topic to the extent that its avoidance could be convenient to daily human discussions. Nonetheless, believers in the transience of this current life enjoy such debate. The Bible reminds us of our history and destination. In all the Scriptural orders about death, I remind myself of these most frequently: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, …, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39). “For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.” (2 Corinthians 5:1). Essentially, through Christ Jesus, we have victory over death: “And the last enemy to be destroyed is death.” (1 Corinthians 15:26). “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”(Revelation 21:4). Believe in Christ Jesus, and it shall be well with you. That’s it!!!
