Review stickers used to have imprinted on the back, “Drive cautiously: the existence you spare might be your own.” That is the understanding of human, more or less. What God says, on the other hand, is, “The life you save is the life you lose.” as it were, the existence you grasp, crowd, gatekeeper, and stay safe with is, at last, an actual life worth little to anyone, including yourself; and just a real-life parted with for the good of love is a real presence worth living.
